SUMMER EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES GET UNDERWAY

The CDAN has initiated its programme of summer educational activities, which will run until August 20.

A wide range of educational activities linked to Alberto Carneiro’s exhibition Trees have been scheduled. Children and youth participants can take part in a number of different workshops held over the course of the week. The workshops will take place throughout the month of July, and participants must register in advance. A workshop for families is also being offered on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings.
For adults, guided tours are available for groups and individuals from Tuesday to Friday at 12 noon, Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m., and on weekends and holidays at 12:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Advance registration is required. To round off the adult programme, visits with the Visual Thinking Programme have been scheduled to take place on Tuesdays at 6 p.m.
In addition to these activities, a number of special workshops for CDAN Club members will also take place. The club currently has 52 registered members. Anyone interested in joining can do so by filling in a registration form available at the CDAN and attaching an ID-card size photo. Club members receive regular updates on educational activities offered at the centre, as well as information on the opening of children’s exhibitions
Various groups have already begun to participate in the activities, which, among other novelties, include a guided tour of the pieces that comprise the travelling collection ‘Art and Nature’, with the option of participating in an on-site workshop.
